RADIOLOGICAL
Radiological risk refers to all dangers related to ionizing radiation. Ionizing radiation emitted by radioactive materials ionizes matter — meaning it strips electrons from atoms as it passes through living tissue. Exposure to radiation can result in irradiation and contamination...
Radiological risk may arise from a nuclear attack, a nuclear accident, or a radiological attack targeting one or more individuals (potentially involving radioactive sources).
Based on radiological threat scenarios and the operational methods used, we conduct a vulnerability assessment, followed by the implementation of all relevant prevention and protection measures, along with training for their application.
